Kim Victoria Cattrall, born August 21, 1956 in London was an British and Canadian actress from Canada and the UK. Her most well-known role was for her character Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. For this role she won the Golden Globe Award for 2002 as the best supporting female Actor. The role was reprised by her in the Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. In the 1980s, she played leading roles as a Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin in addition to Porky's. Kim Cattrall will be remembered for her performance as Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. Cattrall is making a name for herself as an actor. Her role as Samantha Jones was one of the most recognizable roles she played. The actress became a household name and earned international fame through the show. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Most famously, she is known for her performance in the comedy-drama film La Dolce Vita. The film was awarded an Oscar and the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and was also a commercial as well as critical hit. She was born in Skane, Sweden and was a model prior to when she started her acting career. The final result was winning an award at the Miss Sweden Contest. When she moved in the US she began performing in a variety of films, playing small parts. In the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was credited as an Venusian. Soon after, her appearance on the screen in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising newcomer.
